FAQ
Where are you located?
Fort Lauderdale, Fl. Near the Las Olas Whole Foods on 17th street. More specific address details will be provided in booking confirmation.
How do I know which treatment to book?
All treatments begin with a 10 min consultation to better help me understand your concerns and desired outcome. This will guide me and allow me to properly prioritize our time together in order to achieve the best results. The duration time for all treatments are similar, so if after the consultation you decide on a different treatment from the one initially booked, I will be able to adjust and accommodate.
What is dermaplaning?
A method of exfoliation using a sterile blade to remove dead skin cells and debris found on the outermost layer of the skin. No downtime. Results are immediate and last about 3 weeks.
What is microneedling?
Small sterilized needles repeatedly puncture the skin to manipulate its healing process. While reacting to the microscopic wounds caused by needling, the skin will simultaneously generate newer, younger skin cells; as a result, scars, texture, and discoloration becomes noticeably less visible and will likely completely disappear over time with consistent treatments. Recommended every 4-6 weeks with a 24-48hr downtime.
What is LED light therapy?
The use of infrared lights at varying wavelengths to trigger skin cell reactions that treat acne, wrinkles, inflammation, etc. The reaction depends on the color of the light and will be chosen based on the skin concerns you've expressed during the consultation.
What is radio frequency?
Skin tightening procedure that uses low energy heat to stimulate collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid production for tighter, firmer, more youthful skin. No downtime. Immediate results that continue to maximize within the next few days.
What is permanent foundation (PF)?
Similar to micro needling, as explained above. The major difference is the use of pigment to noticeably hide imperfections including hyperpigmentation, acne scars, dark spots, etc. Comparable to the results of applying foundation or concealer except this will last about 1 month as opposed to just 1 day. Coverage starts off sheer and becomes more prominent with continuous treatments recommended every 2-4 weeks. 24 hour downtime.
